1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Zangada Africa website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Zangada Africa is a destination management company specializing in luxury African safari and travel experiences. We provide travel planning, booking, and concierge services for destinations across Africa, including South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, Botswana, and other African countries.

3. Booking and Payment Terms

Reservations

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone
  • Bookings must be made in advance as specified for each service
  • Group bookings may have different terms and conditions

Payment

  • Deposits are required to confirm bookings (typically 30-50% of total cost)
  • Final payment is due 30-60 days before departure
  • Payment methods accepted: Credit cards, bank transfers, and other approved methods
  • All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified
  • Prices are subject to change without notice until booking is confirmed

Cancellation and Refunds

  • Cancellation policies vary by service and accommodation provider
  • Standard cancellation fees apply as follows:
    • 60+ days before departure: 25% of total cost
    • 30-59 days before departure: 50% of total cost
    • 15-29 days before departure: 75% of total cost
    • Less than 15 days: No refund
  • Refunds are processed within 14-21 business days
  • No refunds for no-shows or unused services

4. Travel Requirements and Documentation

  • Valid passport required for all international travel
  • Visa requirements vary by destination and nationality
  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended
  • Health certificates and vaccinations may be required
  • Clients are responsible for obtaining all necessary documentation
  • We can assist with visa applications for an additional fee

5. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, baggage loss, and emergency evacuation. We are not responsible for any costs incurred due to lack of appropriate insurance coverage.

6. Health and Safety

  • Clients participate in activities at their own risk
  • We provide safety briefings and guidelines
  • Clients must follow all safety instructions from guides and staff
  • We are not liable for personal injury or property damage
  • Clients must disclose any medical conditions that may affect their participation
  • Emergency medical evacuation is the client's responsibility

7. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, government actions, or other events that make it impossible or impractical to provide services.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the services. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Zangada Africa and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

11. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any unlawful purpose
  • Violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances

  • Harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
