3 Days | 2 Nights Kruger National Safari
Day 1: Flight to Kruger and Arrival at Skukuza Safari Lodge
- Morning: Fly from OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport or Skukuza Airport. The flight duration is typically around 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Arrival: Upon arrival, a transfer will take you to Skukuza Safari Lodge, located within Kruger National Park.
- Afternoon: After check-in, enjoy a light lunch at the lodge before embarking on your first game drive. The afternoon game drive will be a great chance to spot wildlife, including elephants, lions, and a variety of antelope.
- Evening: Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner. You can relax under the stars or take part in an optional night drive to observe nocturnal animals.
Day 2: Full Day Safari Experience
- Early Morning: Begin with a pre-dawn game drive, when animals are most active. The cool morning temperatures are perfect for encountering predators and grazers alike.
- Breakfast: After the drive, return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast, with an option to enjoy it in the bush.
- Late Morning/Afternoon: After breakfast, enjoy a guided bush walk with a ranger to learn about the local flora and smaller wildlife, or relax at the lodge with views of the surrounding bush.
- Lunch: Head back to the lodge for lunch before your afternoon game drive. This drive will give you another opportunity to explore different areas of Kruger and track the Big Five.
- Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner, and consider an optional bush braai (barbecue) for a traditional South African dining experience.
Day 3: Departure
- Departure: After Breakfast ,Check out and transfer to Skukuza Airport for your flight back to OR Tambo, with a memorable safari experience behind you.
